Too much radiation therapy worsen cancer patients condition in France
Cancer affects many people around the world. It has been around for about a century now and scientists are finding more and more ways to treat it. Treatments from the holistic to the ones that use advance technologies are now out in the market. But are innovations really a good thing? Or is it more of a bad thing? I’ve read in the news, that in France, there have been reported cases of people getting even sicker or dying because of radiation therapy.
Radiation therapy is supposed to be able to treat cancer. However, too much radiation can kill some cells in the body and might lead to organ or system damage. Some die because of too much radiation. It’s just so sad that one is willing to do everything and anything to spend on making one’s life longer and defeat cancer – not knowing that the very same treatment that was their “hope” can also be the very thing that will dishearten them. It is sad that authorities are not even doing their part, not even ask for an apology for the damage they have caused their patients. Patients who have suffered from overdose of radiation therapy didn’t just lose their money, they lost hope that there is still a bright future waiting for them and there is still a life full of promise waiting for them in everything that lies ahead.
